About Me
I have always had a passion for crafting and designing. I started this side gig in December of 2020 while working full-time as a middle school teacher, mom to a 10-month-old, wife, and grad student. I have been in education for 13 years, nine years as a teacher, and four years as a Professional School Counselor. I have been married for 6 years to my amazing husband, Matt. He has been my biggest fan. While I may not trust him to help me weed vinyl, press a shirt, or cut a straight line, he is willing, and that's all that matters. He does pick up shirts, prints, and makes deliveries quite often! I have one daughter, Haylee (5yr), and a bonus daughter, Harper (12yr). When I am not at work, being a mom, bonus mom, or wife, you can find me in my office making customers' visions come to life!
Meet Haylee
Haylee, my daughter is 5 and is by far the cutest helper ever! If I am working on an order, you can bet that she is right next to me handing me stuff, helping me pack it, or even helping weed vinyl! I often catch her on her play phone, taking orders or coloring a picture, and telling me it's for an order. When I can't find something in my office, I know exactly who to ask.
Meet Harper
Harper, my bonus-daughter is 12 and loves to help me as well. She is quite the entrepreneur/girl boss herself. Like me, she also loves to design and make things! She has created her own tie-dye products. When you ask Harper what she wants to do when she grows up, her answer will change, but what stays the same is that the career always involves animals. With that being said, 25% of proceeds from Harper's Twisted Tie Dye will be donated to the Human Society of North Texas (HSNT)!
